My thoughts...

Am I being over sensitive or is some of my changes affected my mood without even I notice it myself?

The last met up with the girls was on Jan 22 for CNY reunion dinner and it has since 1 month 3 days or 34 days (to be exact) since I last saw them. I tried arranged meet up for dinner for 2-3 times but always ended up canceled due to ABC reasons. I never blame anybody for any reason that resulted our meet up to be canceled as I know they got something on. But am thinking, why can they meet up so easily with their colleagues or even ex colleagues but not with our own ZPGY group?

We used to meet up every weekly or at least once every 2 weeks, but not now anymore. Sometimes I wonder, will our less meet up create communication break down? A secret was kept with me without letting anyone know but due to this, people seems to be a little piss with me for not telling them. Am I wrong for not saying out?

And, so many things had happened to me during this short 1 month and wanted so much to tell them, share my joy, sadness and worries with them but they are always not there....even a simple Skype with them, also seldom able to get a proper reply due to their work load.

Am I behaving like a small child who wanted attention from them? They are my only confidante, my 知心女友. If I don't turn to them, don't share my everything, who else?

If ZPGY can be replace by others so easily then I can tell them now and from here that I don't need you girls at all, I won't call and find you anymore. I can handle every problems myself, alone.

ZPGY - 什麼是朋友? 什麼是<豬朋狗友> ????

My Excitement...

I can't content my excitement since day 1 but I insist in announcing it later...

Just 4 more weeks and I'll proudly announce what my excitement was...

Just 26 days more and I'll share my joy with all...

Be patience :)

Get Away @ Bintan 13/02 ~ 15/02

Was away to Bintan Island for a short trip with hubby from 13/2 to 15/2. Had a relaxing weekend, not much shopping but just relexing and photo taking.

Here's my journey.............................

DAY 1 ~ 13/02, Friday

Reached Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal at 10am, checked in for boarding and this is the ferry boarding card.

Walking towards the ferry, so excited yet scared that will giddy and vomit. But lucky I didn't :)

The ferry indeed swinging left and right, I'm feeling drunk.....

Our ferry vessel name: Aria Bupala

Ferry left for Bintan at 11.10am. Good Bye Singapore~~~

Reached sharply at 11.15am (Bintan time, 1 hour behind Singapore)

This will be the ferry we taking back to Singapore on Sunday

Bintan Ferry Terminal

Our resort arranged bus to picked us up from the ferry terminal and here we reached the resort.

Bintan Lagoon Resort

The traditional Malay Welcome dance by the resort staffs. I thought I will only see this in the advertisment! It's so interesting and nice.

This is a short video of the welcome dance

Our room, it's newly upgraded and the room is clean and so comfortable. I layed onto the bed and fall asleep less then 5mins and kanna scolded by hubby: come holiday you want to waste time sleeping?!

The nice platform but there's some ant. Bygone spray is provided in the room and I know why... is to spray the ants coz there's no mosqitoes instead!
Had a bubble bath before start our exploring in Bintan Island

The resort is nice, the view is beautiful, the service is great as the staffs there greets every guests they walked pass! But the food..... Look at hubby face and you will understand.

SGD currency is used in Bintan so everything is very costly. We ordered 1 Tom Yum Soup, 1 Nasi Goreng, 1 Chicken Salad, 1 coke, 1 fresh honeydew juice for our lunch and it cost us $65!

The view directly outside of my seat, so nice... Tropical Island full of coconut trees. Every photos I took sure got at least 1 coconut tree in it except if we were inside of the resort -.-"

I'm trying very hard to take a good full view of the nice swimming pool but too bad, coconut trees again..haha
This is the Garden View Resort
Here we are, The Sun, The Sand and The Sea
The weather in Bintan was quite cloudy so there isn't much sun for hubby to Tann and he was making so much noise to me... But it's lucky for me as don't really need to apply so much sun block! :)
So he went into the sea instead, leaving me 'sun blocking' alone.
There will be two types of flags raised on the beach. If a RED flag is raised, meaning the current is too strong and swimming is strictly prohibited. If YELLOW RED flag is raised, it's normal for swimming.

It's night time and we are actually thinking of going to 1 of the Nelayan Grill House for dinner but lucky we saw my friends and we decided to take a cab out of the resort and have dinner at the Kelong. As I said everything is so expensive there, 1 way cab to the Kelong charge $24, 2 way back is $48!!! Think my whole life staying in Singapore will never ever had a chance to take cab till so expensive. Jurong -> Tampines -> Jurong -> Tampines maybe need $50 la.
The journey from our resort to the Kelong is about 15mins. But the road outside is so quiet and so dark. There isn't any road lights at all!!! Total piece of darkness just imagine you are being throw there alone... so scary....
The so call cab driver is actually the resort staff and understand from him that Bintan got no police at all and they only have security guards and was also told that the safety in Bintan is excellent!
While waiting for our cab to come...
This seat is made from bamboo shoots, the cane we use for canning our kids.

At the Kelong...
We ordered a set dinner catered for 4 people.
Herbal Chicken Soup, Scallop with Broccoli, Fresh Steam Fish, Lemon Chicken, Chili Crab, Fried Butter Prawn, Fried Indonesian Kway Tiao and Fresh Fruits - Total is $120, think is much cheaper then eating inside the resort and the food is also much tastier.
Photo taking outside the Kelong toilet....

Back to the resort after dinner at 10.30pm (Singapore time is 11.30pm). It's a tiring day and went back for Zzz...
Day 2 ~ 14/02, Saturday
We woke up at 8am (Bintan time) and went to have our buffet breakfast in the resort 'Kopi O' restaurant.
The view outside our room, Garden View. And some nice view in the resort...
At the Kopi O restaurant
It's the 2nd day and we planned to go out of the resort for some shopping, trying to buy some gifts back.

We need to take the resort shuttle bus to the Pasar Oleh Oleh and cost $6 for 2 way...
Photo taking with the Malay dance while waiting for the shuttle bus.
We have reached!
There isn't much to shop actually, as mostly is those Indonesia Handcraft gift. Anyway, did managed to bought some stuffs back for my daughter, colleagues and ZPGY.
Also hubby went for full body massage while I had medi and pedi done.
It's night time again and we are back to the resort. Not forgetting it's Valentine's Day.
Romantic and beautifully decorated pool side dinner. Wonder how much does it cost to have this arrange.... Anyway, I'm not the girl who's having dinner by the pool.
Another romantic dinner at the Nelayan Grill house by the sea....
This is where we had our Valentine's Day dinner... By the beach, it's so cosy and comfortable. :)
Our simple yet delicious dinner: Just Indonesian Pizza and Chicken Wings made us so full and satify.
After dinner at 9pm (Bintan time), we scrolled around the resort. Went to the KTV and Silk Nightclub for awhile and back to the room to pack our luggage.
Day 3 ~ 15/02, Sunday
We slept till 9am (Bintan time) and went to had our buffet breakfast. I did some last minute shopping in the resort as I need to buy some dress back for myself.
Our ferry back to Singapore is 3.35pm (Bintan time) but we have to leave the resort at 1.45pm. Shutter bus is provided to send us to the Bintan Ferry Terminal.
The shuttle bus is here and we took 2 more photos before heading back to Singapore...

The overview of the resort I'm staying...
Resort exterior: 4/5
Resort room decoration: 4/5
Room cleaniness: 3/5 (due to the ants on the platform)
Resort service: 4/5
Food: 3/5
Total cost: 3/5
But overall, I will recommend this resort to people out there. If you want to relax then shopping around, Bintan is your choice. :)
