16/06/09, Home resting

On leave Day 7: 16/06/09, Tuesday. At Home

Hb was back to work today so I'm home with Fayth and maid. Will be having good rest and naps today as tomorrow I'll be back to work.

Time flies... Mil, fil and sil will be back to the Lion city tonight. Really enjoyed the time spent with Fayth as we know that after baby is born, we won't be able to shower our entire time on her alone already and daddy also told me yesterday that he was very happy on last Wednesday as he got to spent the whole day outing with us.

Just decide to bring Fayth to Tampines Mall for dinner and to Toysrus later in the evening because she just saw a Barbie toy on the advertisement...

And guess it will be another 4 months before I go for my another long leaves, Maternity Leave!

Till then, work work work!!!

15/06/09, Daddy's home

On leave Day 6: 15/06/09, Monday. Daddy's home @ Telok Blangah

Since daddy was off on Mondays, we went to his house and he cook us our favourite dishes.

Hb changed the fish water before going out...

We reached daddy house at 3.30pm and we went for a walk at the Mount Faber hill. Lucky the weather is good and cooling.

This is the new longest Pedestrian bridge in Singapore which newly Opened on May last year.

Just look how high it is...

Because of the scenery, Hb imagines he's in China. OK, I entertained him and help him took the photo...

After 45mins of scrolling, we went back to daddy house where he starts his cooking and after our dinner, we cut the cake which we decorated for him.

Home Sweet Home at 8.30pm as Hb will be going back to work the next day.

14/06/09, Kranji Countryside

On leave Day 3: 12/06/09, Friday.

Went to East Coast Beach for Picnic, swimming, sand playing and cycling. Of course I didn't swim and cycle, I just seat under the shade and picnic. I forgot to bring along my camera and Hp so there's no photos update... :(

At night, been dragged out of my comfy bed at 10pm by Mei and met up with her, Alan, Jianzhong and Thomas for some chatting and supper at Bedok 85 till Home Sweet Home at 2am.

On leave Day 4: 13/06/09, Saturday.

Uh ho..... after a continuous outings for 3 days, we didn't go out on Saturday. We had our battery recharged and were resting whole day at home.

We turned in early at 10pm at night as we will have another whole day outing on Sunday.

On leave day 5: 14/06/09, Sunday. Kranji Countryside

Woke up at 7am, left home at 8.15am for breakfast and head to all the Farms in Kranji.

Our 1st stop is Hay Dairies Goat Farm.

It's 'Milking Time' for the goats and we got to see how it was being milked and the staff explained to us about the process and storage.

Goats 'queueing up' for their turn to be milk.

We bought 2 small bottles (200ml) of goat milk (white and chocolate flavour) as Hb wanted to try it. He said the taste of the 'goat' is quite strong. Anyway, cow milk I already got problem swallowing it, I won't dare to try the goat milk, not even to smell it!
2nd stop: Jurong Frog Farm

You can hear the frogs making noise inside those ponds

Inside their retail office, we bought 6 bottles of Bullfrog Essence

There's a farm in this area: Fire Flies Health Farm and the 1st thought most human beings mind will think that it is a Fire Flies farm, so did I thought so of it but it turns up to be an Organic Vege Farm... Fayth was so disappointed and keep making noise that she wanted to see Fire Flies. Me being so pissed off seeing Fayth sad look, I explained to Fayth in front of the cashier that we have been cheated by the farm name. There's no Fire Flies but all vege. Only then I noticed that we are not the only one who got 'cheated', there's another family also came to the farm because they wanted to see Fire Flies, not vege! Change the name please!
We went to the Crocodile farm but was closed.
It was lunch time so we went to Bollywood Vege Farm for a quick lunch.

Nasi Lemak, nuggets and fries, papaya salad, tofu and prawn soup and Bollywood curry. Sad to say, the food sucks....

After the quick lunch, we brought Fayth to Qian Hu Fish Farm for Longkang Fishing and Hb enjoyed his Fish Spa.
He said the small fish spa is ticklish feeling while the big fish spa (yes, big fish length about 15cm!) is more on massage feeling.

Fayth and maid enjoy the fishing and feeding of tortoises while me walking around taking photos and hiding under the shades.

Hb joined Fayth with the fishing after his Spa and ended up we caught 2 full tanks of fishes (more then 50 fishes).

Since we are already at Jalan Bahar, we decided to go Jurong Point shop around and there's this Icing Room cake shop at B1 whereby we can decorate the cake ourselves. $11.20 for 6" cake.

We wanted to decorate a cake for my Daddy... so, Fayth and I start our art piece together

Touching up the finals..

Ta da!!! Our completed Art.
It is a long day 'farming' and shopping so we decide to pack food home for dinner instead of eating out. Home Sweet Home at 5pm.

11/06/09, Alot of places

On leave Day 2: 11/06/09, Thursday. Gallop Stable @ Pasir Ris Green, Downtown East, Pasir Ris Farmway Kids Kampung.

We didn't went out too early on Day 2 (coz exhausted from Day 1 trip!). Brought Fayth to Gallop Stable, she is happily feeding the pony and horses.

Gallop Stable is actually quite a small place with nothing much to see except for horses so we only stayed there for about 45mins. Next, we went to Kids Explorer @ Downtown East. Wanted to let Fayth have fun in the indoor playground but they charged too expensive. $22 for the 1st hour and subsequently $6/hour. If my maid were to accompany Fayth inside, got to pay additional $1.50 AND you will need to wear socks inside the playground which cost another $2/person. So, in total we will need to pay nearly $30 for 1 hour of fun inside the indoor playground!!! End up we brought Fayth to ride on the Ferries Wheels which 2 rounds cost $15.50 for family of 3 pax.

Also brought Fayth to 2 mini rides at the Downtown East chalet entrance. Fayth wanted to ride on this Horse carriage so I accompany her which made me nearly fainted after the few rounds of turning and turning....

Fayth was afraid of seating alone in the mini train ride so, again I had to accompany her and I really got problem getting in and out of the train because of my 'not-so-big, not-so-small' stomach.

After spending about 2 hours at Downtown East, we went to Kids Kampung at the Pasir Ris Farmway 1. Inside there, Fayth got to feed the goose, ducks, rabbits and fishes.

I'm afraid that the goose will 'poke' my hand if I feed it directly with my hand but I still tried feeding it! Bravo Sharon~~~ Hahaha
Never seen such a hungry Koi fishes before.....
Fayth and Hb fishing
Finally caught a fish but we are not allow to bring this fish back, in exchanged, they gave us 1 fighting fish to bring home.
After a tired day of playing, we went to Tampines Century Square Sakae Sushi for dinner then Home Sweet Home at 9pm.
