Fayth, unborn and I

There is one word that I hate to use during pregnancy - insomnia and I can't accept the fact that I'm currently suffering from it.

It's not that I can't fall asleep, I can and I will always be in bed by 10pm and as usual I will sure wake up in the night for those pee trips. Noticed recently after all those trips, I had difficulties going back into Lalaland to flirt with Mr Zzz. I will be tossing and turning left and right for a good 1 hour or sometimes 2 hours!

Reason of me suffering from insomnia? My little unborn inside me! I really start to wonder do she really sleep inside me??? Whenever I'm awake for the Pee Trip, she is sure to be either practising her kungfu or somersaulting.

I accommodated her by sleeping on my sides so she will have enough space in the womb for those kicks and pokes but seems like no matter which side I turned to, she's still did not satisfy! She will then start tickling and rubbing towards my skin as if I'm pressing onto her which made me feel itchy and uncomfortable. In the end, I surrendered and let her have her ways while my eyes open big like a gold fish.

Last night, Fayth and I fall asleep at 10pm after chatting with each other for a good 30mins (she's a chatterbox!). Fayth is having cough and runny nose recently (which got worst yesterday morning), and it's a mother instint to feel her forehead to see if she's down with a fever or not and at 2am, she's having a fever at 37.7 degree so I woke her up to take medicines and as usual went for my Pee Trip.

Pampered her back to sleep at around 2.30am, with my eyes closing and slowly drifting into my Lalaland, the kungfu and somersaulting start! In the end, I've been turning around till 4am. I checked on Fayth's temperature again and finally able to fall asleep back.

Hopefully when baby is born, she will be fast to develop a proper sleeping routine!
